This eBook is a comprehensive guide to growing over 40 different vegetables, fruits and herbs. This eBook is designed to provide new growers with all the information needed to get growing. If you’ve never sown a seed before this book is a comprehensive toolkit to guide you through growing your very first vegetables from seed to harvest. If you have a little more experience, this book is aimed to be a one-stop reference, and may even teach you how to grow something new!
This book focuses specifically on the needs of each plant and how to grow them. I have incorporated all the information that I often struggle to find when reading books about growing food: seed sowing depths, germination temperatures and ideal growing temperatures for every plant. This book contains all you need to know about growing the 40+ fruit and veg contained within it.
The book includes tomatoes, potatoes, aubergines, peppers, chilies, courgettes, melons, cucumbers, runner beans, kale, cabbage, shallots, leeks, onions & basil to name a few! See contents page screenshots for the full list of plants included. This book also has sections on companion planting, managing pests, dealing with diseases and explaining gardening jargon.
We live in Somerset, UK, in growing zone 8 and the book is written to suit this growing zone. However, the book will work very well for growing zones 6-9. Rather than being date specific, this book states when plants need to be planted out after last frost, which you can plan according to your own last frost date.
